Everyone in Brighton I know can’t wait until the Christmas Lights will be switched on. The event will officially kicks of the start to Brighton’s Christmas Season, with competitions, prizes and Santa himself will even be there!
Back by popular demand is the free-to-enter Christmas raffle, giving everyone in the crowd a chance to win a range of prizes ranging from Premier League football tickets, to restaurant vouchers and even a trip to see Santa in his grotto! There will also be live music courtesy of Juice FM and an opportunity to get photos with Santa. The event starts at 5pm and kicks off the Christmas Season for Brighton and Hove.
The Christmas lights switch on in Brighton is the largest seasonal display of lights on the south coast and as stated above it will be switched on at an event starting at 5pm on Thursday, November 19 on East Street. Seasonal characters in festive fancy dress, balloon modellers and stilt walkers will also be on hand, mingling with the crowd, spreading festive charm and entertaining the little ones.
Join us from 5pm on Thursday 19th November in East Street to countdown to the Brilliant Brighton Christmas Lights switch on 2015.
This year 2015 will be in partnership with local Charity Rockinghorse, and supporting this FREE event for the fourth year running will be Juice FM. This year we’ve got a packed stage, prize giveaway and some special guests to celebrate the start of the festive season in style.
Make sure you take your place at the Juice Stage on East Street to get your free raffle ticket for a chance to win one of our great prizes. If you don’t win, there’s still some stellar entertainment on offer from The Theatre Workshop, singing group Vocademy and local singer songwriter Hobbie Stuart.
